I have been a major slacker! I will be honest, blogging is not my thing! I will update you on the lastest so I won't bore you all! Brad turned 30! and Addy turned 3! Two big birthdays! Brad started student clinic so that means we are getting closer to graduation! We were in Salt Lake for 3 weeks in August and it was so nice to see friends and be with family! The summer was very hot here in Missouri so we really didn't do much, it was too hot to be outside and not much inside so we were miserable! We were happy to go to Utah and feel the dry heat. We loved going up the mountains and roasting marshmallows! We were able to go up to Chicago which we loved. It was a very fun city and we even got to go to a Cubs game!

Addy is growing up a lot! She is at a very fun age! She started preschool twice a week and LOVES it. I love that she is playing on her own and her favorite is being a princess. She still loves to color and is getting very good! She is a typical 3 year old and definitely throws her tantrums but is great as long as she stays busy. My favorite is when she sings! She loves to sing and catches on very fast to songs....she loves princess songs! My other favorite thing...she is completely potty trained! yeah! no more diapers, not even at night!! So nice.

I realize it has been awhile since I wrote but, things just get going and I forget! We had a great holiday break. It started with my mom coming to see us here in Missouri and that was amazing! I forget how easy it is having someone around to help cook and watch Addy! We had a lot of fun spending time together because we didn't see her at Christmas time. At our Church Christmas party they asked us to be the family in the night before christmas play so it was fun until Addy started opening the fake presents and one were taco shells which she then opened the box and then I finally saw her! How lovely Addy but a great memory:)

We then went to Olympia, WA. for Christmas and New Years! It was great to be with family and see many of Brad's friends. We caught up on movies and eating at all the yummy places in Olympia that we miss. We were also able to go and see my Aunt and Uncle in Newcastle which was fun for Addy because she got to play with Gaia and Quin!

Addy is growing right up before our eyes! She is almost 2 1/2 now and I am happy to report she is finally sleeping in her own room! Many of you might think we are crazy for having her in our room this whole time but, she was on her own bed she just never wanted to go in her own room especially when we moved. The other day I put her mattress in there and asked her if she wanted to start taking her naps in there and she said "YES, I will go get my pillow and blanket mom!" It has been great. She is our little singer and loves Beauty and the Beast because she can sing along with the songs. She also memorizes really well. My favorite is when she sings us songs so I will get those posted soon! She loves to talk and just over Christmas she really started to say full sentences. Not just 4-5 words but whole stories so we are loving her and watching her get into pretend play more and more. You wouldn't think that is exciting but it is fun to see her imagination kick in! She also loves playing hide and go seek. She'll count and then say "Come and find me" but, jump out before you even get there! Addy loves to help in the kitchen. I made chocolate covered oreos and she was right in there helping and then Grandma sue made rolls and she helped her roll them out and everything! Also a funny story- On Christmas Eve Addy was one of the angels but all she wanted to do was sit in the seat that was Mary's so she'd get up but always go back to Mary and make her get up so she could sit down.

This year I was working on Halloween so it wasn't too exciting but Brad took Addy to the Trunk or Treat and came home with a load of candy! Addy was Belle this year, thanks to Eden having a princess birthday party it made it easy to figure out what she wanted to be! Addy is growing up like crazy I can't believe where the time goes?!

Fall has been so nice here in Missouri, I can't complain! Today was over 70 degrees but it is very dry. We haven't had rain for awhile! We found a fun little mexican restaurant downtown that we love, we are feeling more at home here and are grateful for this beautiful weather we have been having! It makes all the difference when you can go outside more than once a day!:)

Addy on her 2nd Birthday

We can't believe it was 2 years ago on Sept.11th (I know I'm a little behind!) that Addy came into our lives! We have loved just about every minute with her! She is not a sleeper so that was hard but she is just fine now! Addy is growing like crazy and we love her phrases that she has been saying, here are some just to name a few:

We are loving this stage she is in, she is so much fun! She makes us laugh everyday and she loves to have fun and sing and dance! We love you Addy girl!

August Travels

The sad Foofa Cake! In Utah we gave Addy a Yo Gabba Gabba b-day party and my Mom and I attempted to make an amazing cake. It looked great at first and then it slowly went down hill and by the end of the night it was falling apart. So we had Addy blow the candles before it completely fell over but at least she was blowing them out and not scared of the thing!!

We were able to go to Idaho and see Brad's fam. Addy loved it there because she got to play with her cousins! We went to jackson hole for a day and it was beautiful! I remember it being a lot bigger but I liked the small town feel.

We have been having a great end of summer blast! That is the nice thing about Brad being in school is that we have 3 week breaks 3x a year so we get to see family and friends! So... we just got back from Utah and Idaho. Addy and I went while Brad was in finals so we just hung out with family! The highlight was going to the petting zoo at This is the Place Park! They have a huge area where you can walk around and touch the sheep, lamb and goats. There are also bunnies, pigs, donkeys and horses on the outside, Addy loves animals so this was a GREAT idea! Another highlight that week was Brandon and I went down to Provo to see Remington in the temple. We thought it might help boost his spirits and it did. It didn't make him home sick it only helped him to keep going! He is now on his way to Portland until he gets his visa to go to Brazil! Another highlight was being around our dog Kohl. Everyday Addy would wake up and say,"Walk Kohlie, Papa come!" She loved being around Kohl and wanted to walk him everyday- she even caught onto his actions by lifting up her leg on the trees just like Kohl! Haha!

5 years!

It has been 5 wonderful years that Brad and I have been married!(it was officially yesterday but I missed the blogging part!) It has been wonderful and we have had some really great adventures! It doesn't feel that long, I guess you just stay busy and time flies! I am grateful for B and how amazing he is! I love him more each day and right now being in school isn't the greatest but we know we have to stay strong and it will go by fast then we can move on with our lives!! I just wanted you all to know how wonderful my husband is that he made me a nice hard cover book of the past 6 1/4 years we have been together and it was so nice! We are loving our lives and can't wait for the future but I can't believe it could get any better!

We had fun at a bbq which was held at B's school and Addy and this cute boy were dancing to the music. This was only a little bit because when Justin Beiber came on she went nuts! warning: ( I was holding the camera so it is a little shaky!)

Addy is definitely growing up and talking like crazy! It is so fun to hear her talk and my favorite is when she says, "hot pockets!" We were watching it on youtube and I highly recommend it, its hilarious by jim gafigan. anyway, Addy also sings twinkle, twinkle little star with me and she loves going to the pool. She loves the water slide and she thinks she is big enough to go out into the water without Brad or I so, I guess it is starting already she is like her dad! She thinks she can do just about anything on her own! We love you Add!

Addy and cousin JR

Addy and I had a great time in Utah! Brad was in the middle of midterms so it was perfect for us to go. We were able to spend some extra time with Rem before he left on his mission because he didn't get his visa and there was no room in Provo for him so that was a great surprise! Addy loved "Wemy!" The weather was perfect and there was no humidity! Awesome! Can you tell I don't really like the humidity? It really is NOT fun but we are getting through it.It was a lot of fun to see Addy and JR together. She loved him and especially helping put his binki in so I am very grateful I do not have another baby because I really don't think I'd be able to handle it! JR would smile when Addy was around, they are cute! I really didn't want to leave and after 2 wonderful weeks I was slapped in the face with a horror trip home. Read below for details.....

When it came time to leave it was really sad, I felt like I could have stayed at least another week! And there was a sign that maybe I should have! We got to the airport and ON the airplane when they told us Denver (that is where we had to stop b4 ST.louis) was having a bad storm and tornados in the area! Just my luck! So we got off the plane and 3 hours later got back on! This is not an easy task with a 22 month old who just runs everywhere! The flight was supposed to be a little over an hour but of course we had to circle before landing which made it about 2 hours! (Not fun when you have to go pee so bad while entertaining a toddler!)When we got to Denver we were supposed to leave within 45 min. to St.Louis and of course it turned into2 1/2 hours! It was horrible, I was so sick of the moving sidewalks that I was going to scream. Well, it doesn't end there.....our plane came but they said they had to give it to the San Antonio passengers who had been waiting longer so we waited for another plane got on it and there were electric issues!! Yes I was crying by this point. So we got off that plane and waited 30 min. for another plane and then finally left! We cruised home though...it usually is a little over 2 hours to st.louis and it only took us 1 1/2 hrs. so that was good! But, it was 2 am by this time and I had the biggest headache of my life. All in all it was about a 12 hour ordeal by the time we got home! It was a nightmare and I don't think I want to ever fly through Denver again! But I feel like I can conquer anything now because I was all by myself with Addy and I just didnt know how I was going to make it but I did -so I feel very proud!!

It is getting hot here! I don't know how people live here because I love my summer nights and it just does not cool off and it is only June and I hear July is worse. Oh well we are good! Addy keeps us entertained! She loves to say "cheese" to the camera except, as you can tell it looks more like she is growling at us or something but I promise she is smiling! She loves her back pack and her purse right now and of course her baby but I just got pics of her "packpack" She is saying lots of two words together so I think sentences will be coming very soon! Yeah! The communication is sometimes not so great but she is loads of fun, I love this stage she is in! Brad is really into school right now because he has got a lot of tough classes so we are proud of him for pushing through! Check out the bottom pics he decided to shave a rat tail! Yes, I know I made him cut it the next day but he wanted to try and brighten his friends days because they are not having too much fun right now! Enjoy!

Addy is over 20 months now and I don't know where the time has gone and i just have to tell you a few things about her! She is at such a fun age and has been saying her own name for over a month now but just started to say it back to me when I yell for her. I can't help but laugh everytime she does it! I will say Addy come here and all I hear is her saying Addy, Addy! It brings a smile on my face.... She is talking really well, at least saying a lot of words but now she needs to put them all together.She loves to say sentences of jibber and then add a word at the end and give me this look like, mom, why aren't you understanding what I am saying?!! This also brings a smile to my face. I love that she points out my eyes, ears, mouth, nose, tongue, teeth, arms, legs, knees and so on. She laughs at herself and my fav lately is that she has been looking for Milo the cat who is in Olympia where we just visited. She has been walking around saying Milo, Milo! This also brings a smile to my face! One last thing for now that I love.....when she runs she kinda twists her little bum, so funny! It brings a smile to face and especially that she loves giving us kisses. We love our Addy girl!

Over Spring break

We were able to go to Olympia and visit Brad's family over his break. We had soo much fun and loved seeing family. We ate lots of food and enjoyed great weather! Our friends who are graduating. Brad had a nice finals rally mustache but, I am happy to say it is gone now!

It has been a great spring! We have been having 75-80 degree weather and I cannot complain about that! The sad part about this time of year is saying goodbye to good friends we have made here and see them moving on to real life. (that's what we call it when you aren't a student anymore!) IT was sad to see 3 families move but, fun families are still here we just don't want the day to come when no one is in the trailer park with us but maybe then we will be leaving:) There was a bbq for the families who graduated and these are the pics.

Addy was having so much fun playing on the slides and swings but she especially loved her balloon! And then I was so excited it was finally nice enough weather for Addy to wear Grandma Sue and Aunt Lindsay's cute dress they gave her. She started to say cheese and smile before we even took the picture so now we are in the stage of Addy squinting her eyes when we take a pics. You can never get a perfect pic with these non professional cameras!! Addy is growing up, and saying all kinds of words she just has to start putting them altogether. She is definitely trying to put words together but they just aren't clear.

We can't complain life has been pretty good oh except the tornado sirens going off on Saturday!! Yes I said it Tornado Siren!!! It was a first for us, basically it was raining really hard almost all day and on the bottom of the tv the warning was first severe weather, then it went to tornado watch then it went to tornado warning and then Brad and I fell asleep and woke up to the siren going off. Addy was sleeping so I really thought I don't want to leave but Brad said I will get Addy and you go to the car. We went over to the mall looking like we came from the trailer park! We waited an hour and then there were blue skies and sunshine! It was crazy and we did hear there was a tornado in the city next to us so always be safe than sorry! We survived our first Torando Sirens, yeah!:)

We had such a great time in Nauvoo! It is only 2 1/2 hours away so we took advantage and went over the weekend. Addy did ok on the ride but she was very good considering how boring this trip probably was for her. It is fun to go in the homes and shops but the wonderful missionaries give you a long story of what happened there. Well, Addy's attention span is one minute maybe so we only went in one home and the blacksmith shop and she ran like crazy so we didn't do anything else.We did experience the Nauvoo hotel buffet. We thought it was perfect for nauvoo, there are no fast food restaurants anywhere so you have to experience this buffet. It was good southern food and the next morning we had Grandpa Joe's breakfast across the street so Brad and I basically need diets!! The temple was gorgeous and the weather wasn't great the first day in fact it was pouring rain but the next day it was sunny and a little cold but nice enough we could go visit everything we missed. It was amazing to imagine the pioneers looking across the river and thinking let's go! Because I would be very scared but that is why they are more than amazing because of their faith in the Lord. This trip helped us realize how grateful we are for everything we have , we definitely have been blessed. It helps to put everything into perspective. We are grateful that the saints did go to Salt Lake and build the church we don't know where we'd be without it. All that to say everyone should go to Nauvoo and get a little spiritual boost:)

Jibber Jabber

Our Miss Addy is getting so big! That is all I blog about because I really have nothing else to say but I am excited for The Bachelor Finale on Monday and American Idol! But, Addy is starting to say a bunch of words and she is repeating a lot of things I say. So, yes I have to be careful!! Her favorite word right now is uh-oh whenever anything falls or she does something she is not supposed too. She also loves to just sit and say momma, momma until I look at her. She just figured out last week that she can grab the back of our bench which was too tall for her before and now she slides right up there and loves to hang out there. She also loves the kitchen chairs which is scary because I know one day I am not looking she is going to go right on her face. She is a little dare devil and loves to try things out and pushes all the buttons on the tv remote and my phone so sorry if she calls you! She always is jibber jabbing and we love it because we know she is talking to us but we can't understand a word she is saying! We love the stage she is in right now but I know it won't be as fun up the road so I am having as much fun right now as I can! In the cold that is hard to do and especially in the Missouri cold! It is bitter but now that I have rambled enough I think that is a pretty good update! Oh and Brad is just studying all the time so forward we go with school , yeah!!

I love watching Addy grow each day. Every day there is something new that she does. I turned the corner the other day and she was just talking to herself and so proud that she had found the shower cap and put it on her head! She is independent.....she wants to do things on her own and I love that about her because she learns really fast because of this! It was so funny to see her in the shower cap! She loves to dress up all the time. Brad and I finally got a pretty good picture I would say so I just had to put it up because I love my B so much and am so proud of him! This trimester is already a killer and he is so dedicated, I know he will get through it as long as their is food on the table because he loves food! We are loving life and trying to get through this winter stuff, I am not liking the cold but hopefully the warm will come sooner than I think:) That is just wishful thinking I know!

Winter Time

We had so much fun in Salt Lake and Olympia for the holidays! It was great seeing family. At my parents house Addy loved the clementines (pic above) she threw them all over the place! Santa visited us and brought Addy lots of fun new toys which we had to ship home. It was great to be with Brad and be lazy. Addy was able to play with her cousins in Oly and they had lots of fun running around and we found out that Addy loves to be in her diaper and no clothes. As soon as I would go to change her she was up and running everywhere.....hilarious! She is full of energy that is why I liked having help around for the holidays now we are back to the entertaining her all day! When we got back to good old Missouri it was freezing cold and so we bundle Addy up and off we went. She loved the childrens museum...her favorite thing were the balls, she loves to throw them. Addy loves to get in our closet and wear our shoes. In the pic above she had found not only my shoes but my hat as well, I think she will like playing dress up! Addy doesn't want me at the computer anymore so off I go for another day but we had lots of fun and hope the cold will go away soon. We are getting sick of inside play!

Addy has been loving the bathtub lately! It is so funny she just wants to get up on that ledge and sit there. While she was occupied I decided to put her hair in a ponytail. It was really tricky actually because it is so curly it won't go back very easily. Oh and she definitely did not want to let go of the apple! We have been looking for a babydoll for her and while at our one of many trips to Costco we found this set which had a stroller, highchair and bassinet for this baby. It was perfect for her and a really good price so we snatched it up and let her have it even though its a christmas present. She doesn't know the difference! She has loved playing with it especially if you look in the picture she doesn't care which way she puts the baby in the stroller as long as its in there! And lastly she loves to been in just her diaper so we love the last pic with B and her cute belly!

Welcome to Missouri

We just got our family pics done. It was a lot of fun, we went to the old historic route 66 bridge on the Missouri-Illinois border. We took this one by the missouri sign for fun but we really do call it home now. We have been here for 3 months now and have loved it! There is so much to do and 65 degree weather right now isn't half bad. Addy is full of energy and learning everyday. She is so funny, Brad and I laugh all day at her. She can fold her arms during the prayer and she jumps on the count of 3 and then laughs at herself. The other day she had a big diaper and I told B it was his turn so he said,"Addy go get a diaper." of course he was kidding because he was being lazy but 30 seconds later Addy came out of her room with a diaper and gave it to dad. So funny she is too smart! Brad is starting finals and will be done on the 16th and then we are headed to Utah and Washington for Christmas. Can't wait to see all of you!

Halloween was so much fun, Grandma Sue and Papi were in town! Addy was in her costume all day long and is growing each day! She loves to jump and feed herself with the spoon, it is so funny because she is already wanting to do things on her own. She is also folding her arms when we say our prayers! while Brads parents were here we went shopping and ate lots of food. It was fun to show them around and have them experience the trailer park. We are loving Chesterfield but missing family and friends, always keep in touch! love you all!

We had so much fun with Grandma Bobbi! Brad and I actually got to go on a couple of dates all alone so thanks mom:) We went to the zoo and it was a little cold but still fun to see Addys reaction to the animals. We went shopping pretty much everyday because it was crappy weather but as soon as the sun came out we were at the zoo! Grandma was a trooper to sleep on the air mattress all week but she was fine. It was just great to have someone else here with me during the day to go and do fun things! WE miss you Grandma, love you!Mwaaa-kisses:)

the Trailer Life

I just have to share our story. So the other day Brad and I were smelling this funky smell and we kinda just went about our everyday duties and forgot about it but then by the next day it was BAD! Brad came home for lunch and I said I think its got to be something dead in the oven. He said, " The oven?" and I said, " Yeah that is where the smell is coming from !" So, Brad took the oven out and started to unscrew it. Now this is an old, old oven so you can look down the sides and see the insulation. Well.... I was back in the bathroom and I hear ,"yep there is a tail!" I thought you have got to be kidding me! There was a dead mouse in our oven! It had crawled up from the bottom and was behind the switches where you turn the burners on. It was so sick because he had tried to chew the wires and they shocked him and he died! So we decided to get rid of the whole oven and get a new one! There was mouse poop behind it and it was just sick! I guess the mouse just wanted to welcome us into the trailer park.... oh the trailer life is so much fun :)

Addy turned one on September 11! I can not believe it, the time has really flown by! She is walking all over the place even though its from one end of the trailer to the other she could go all day. We love her so much and she truly brings joy into our lives everyday. This past weekend she decided to take everything out of the cupboards and make herself at home. It was so funny I got pics but need to download them so her new hang out place is the cupboards. And she loves taking all of her toys out of the baskets and sitting in the baskets. She is too funny to watch! We love her!

I know I havent written anything for awhile but now that we are away from everyone I promise to be better! So we finally made it to Chesterfield, Missouri! We are happy to be here because we have had so many car problems we really didnt know what would happen but our car didn't break down until after we got here so that was good and we found out our wires were all fried and anyways it is all fixed and hopefully no more problems for awhile!!! So I have put pictures up of our great trailer. I know I cant bellieve that we actually live here in this mobile park but, it is in such a great location we couldnt pass it up. I know you are all jealous! Brads school is 3 minutes away and so is Target, Michaels, Walmart, Sams club, Home Depot, Five Guys, yes the list goes on an on. We have so many stores and shops around us we feel like we can deal with the trailer for 3 1/2 years. Brad starts school next week so that will give us more time to get settled. We have painted almost the whole trailer we still need to paint our bathroom but it is feeling more like home. It really feels like an apartment until you walk outside and see the trailer hitch on the front of the trailer or as the train goes by behind us the whole trailer shakes and then we are reminded we are in a trailer! Brad and I just laugh and ask "How did we get here again?" We went to church and we feel like the ward is going to be great for us! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the pics, words can't describe this place!

I have not written on here for so long. Our lives have been a little hectic in the past couple of months , so I am sorry! My older brother Brandon was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer. He is doing ok at this point and expected to go into remission we all is said and done with his chemo and bone marrow transplants but, for now please pray for him! God has definitely blessed us during this time and I am grateful for that.

We are headed to Missouri in August! Brad is going to Logan Chiropractic College in St.Louis and we are very excited. It will be a fun adventure for our family and we can't wait! This is it, we are starting a new chapter in our lives that will change our family forever. Brad is so excited and it is exactly what he wants to do. He will graduate with a masters in Sports rehab and we all know B, he loves sports so this is perfect for him! Come visit!

Addy is now 9 months! I cannot believe how time goes by so fast! She is crawling everywhere and walking with the help of mom and dad! She also wants to crawl on top of everything. She is talking to everyone and we love how her personality that is shining brightly now!Last night we got some video of her so I hope this works!

I can't believe Addy will be 6 monthes next week! It has flown by and we are loving every minute of it. We have been busy the past couple of months with going up to Brads home twice in the last 2 months so we are home and getting settled again. Addy and I had a girls weekend where we had so much fun doing girl stuff with Brads family! I learned how to make bows for Addy so I am actually being creative and a real home maker! Brad is looking into Chiropractic schools and we will hopefully be on our way to one of them this fall. We are very excited to get going with his schooling and start a new chapter in our lives.

It is true, Addy has a little rat tail! It is pretty funny and the cutest rat tail I have ever seen! Her hair is just really growing in that one spot. I never thought I would say that my child has a "sweet rat tail!"

The holidays were a busy time. Thanksgiving we were here in SL but, we flew up to Olympia for Christmas on Christmas Eve. We had so much fun. Addy was baby Jesus in the Nativity with the Bigelow kids. We were able to just relax and rest while in Olympia so that was nice. We played a lot of Rock Band because we were literally stuck at home from all the snow. They don't have plows! It is amazing to me especially because I am so used to plows! Anyway...Addy is growing bigger each day! We tried putting her in the johnny jump up but it was just a little too big but, she is wanting to sit up on her own but isn't quite there. She is talking all the time while sucking on her fingers (which we are trying to stop..) but it is the cutest thing! Brad is continuing to like ALSCO and I love being with my Addy girl at home!

New to Blogging!

We finally made a blog! This will hopefully keep everyone posted on what is going on in our lives. I can't believe it is already December and almost a new year! We have had beautiful Addy in our lives for 12 weeks now. It definitely has not been easy but she is well worth it. You learn how to really be patient. She is growing bigger each day and she has new faces and sounds as well. It is amazing, we love her! Brad just started a new job and is enjoying it. He is a sales rep, and we all know Brad doesn't have a hard time talking to anybody so it is perfect for him. I decided not to go back to work. I would rather be with my Addy girl so I am lucky I can be with her! That is our lives up to speed for now!
